Nikki Bella is back, but the Rack Attack is dead. Long live the Rack Attack. While The Fearless One is finally — finally — cleared to return to the ring, there are still a few kinks to work out before she can actually get back on TV again. Namely, she needs a new signature move, as her doctor has advised her against performing the Rack Attack on account of the pressure it puts on her neck. Nikki has her eyes set on a submission at first, and she rolls around with Bayley, Natalya and MMA fighter Shayna Baszler to try and figure something out. But she hasn’t quite abandoned the idea of a power-based offense yet, and by episode’s end she says she has settled on a new move … but we’ll probably have to wait until next week’s season finale to see it.
When Natalya catches wind of the existence of a “pet agency” — literally, an agent who will monetize one’s pets — she develops a singular focus around building the brand of 2Pawz, her “iconic” cat who already has a sizable following on Instagram. Natalya even goes so far as to invite herself to the Bellas’ business meeting with the agent to get her foot in the door. Things seem to be moving in the right direction when Natalya visits Rosa Mendes and her fiancé Bobby Schubenski to discuss creating merchandise for 2Pawz fledgling following (Bobby designed the T-shirts). But when Renee Young reaches out to Bobby on her own to start creating merch for her and Dean Ambrose’s dog, Blue, Nattie declares it to be a “shady” infringement of her own endeavors. That is, until Brie reminds her that Natalya essentially did the same thing when she encroached on the Bellas’ turf, at which point The Queen of Harts admits that there’s room for more than one pet in the game.

Nikki Bella’s comeback gets a twist on this week’s Total Divas when the former Divas Champion receives an offer to compete on “Dancing With the Stars” while she’s in the midst of her training. The Fearless One instantly sees major potential in spreading her return over multiple brands and reaching as many viewers as possible, but she’s hesitant to commit as she’d likely be unable to both wrestle and dance at the same time. After John Cena — no stranger to reality TV — basically confirms that it’s one or the other, Nikki ultimately turns “Dancing With the Stars” down and decides to focus on getting back to the ring.
During their wedding, Rusev pushes Lana outside of her comfort zone; Nicole gets an offer to go on ”Dancing With the Stars” and wonders if she should quit WWE; Eva Marie pushes a healthier lifestyle on her sick father.
On this episode of E!’s Total Divas, Brie Bella is still not pregnant, and she suspects, after a visit to a holistic acupuncture therapist, that an iron deficiency from her all-vegetarian diet is the culprit. Nikki is completely convinced this is the case, both as an avowed carnivore and the clinically-proven smarter of the Bellas, and for the rest of the episode she sets about attempting to convince Brie to eat meat again. Brie is sorely tempted — she even FaceTimes former vegetarian/former Total Diva Rosa Mendes, who switched her diet and got pregnant shortly thereafter, for advice. It turns out to be something even more left-field than a vegetarian diet that’s giving Brie trouble: She’s doing so much cryotherapy that it’s messing with her body. Another mystery solved.
Daniel Bryan is up and running as the GM of SmackDown LIVE, and Brie Bella has been keeping him company on the road. Which isn’t exactly a problem, per se, so much as it is mildly uncomfortable for her given that she’s retired. It becomes an issue quickly enough, though, when Brie misses out on a crucial conference call with Nikki because she can’t get wifi at the hotel. Nikki tells Brie like it is and suggests she is once again putting her own projects at risk for the sake of making Bryan comfortable, which is especially insane since she’s no longer with the company. As angry as Brie gets, she acquiesces that Nikki has a point, and The Beard doesn’t put up a fuss when Brie asks if she can stop traveling so as to better focus on her other endeavors.
