Winter is coming, WWE Universe. And let’s face it, with the characters on “Game of Thrones” dropping like flies each passing week, the folks in Westeros could use a few more lords and ladies to fill out their ranks. Well, have no fear, House Lannister et. al, WWE.com has you covered. In fact, here are 15 WWE Superstars and Divas who would be right at home alongside The Imp, The Kingslayer and The Mother of Dragons in the do-or-die world that George R.R. Martin built.
Look all you want, but don’t touch that which lies under the protection of House Bella’s twin ladies, Brie and Nikki. Practitioners of a rare form of sorcery known as “Twin Magic” (only House Uso has otherwise mastered the technique), the Ladies Bella have slowly expanded their dominion on a grassroots level, gaining favor with the people by way of a marriage with House Bryan. The WWE Universe follows their trials and tribulations with the “Total Divas” bulletins distributed by the emissaries of House E! twice a year, but don’t let their pretty faces fool you. Brie and Nikki are as dangerous as they are beautiful. Give them a chance to show it, and you’ll regret ever underestimating them.
Paige won the Divas Battle Royal to become the new No. 1 contender to the Divas Championship
And somebody’s not thrilled about that. You see, the finagling of the Divas division may have earned them all a fair shot (a chance, if you will) at becoming next in line for Nikki Bella’s title in a Battle Royal, but one Diva in particular wasn’t too happy when her seemingly preordained spot as the next woman up didn’t pan out. That’d be Naomi, who’s pinned the champion twice and went into the melee as the heavy favorite, only to get superkicked out of the ring by Paige in the nail-biting conclusion of the Battle Royal. She wasn’t happy. In fact, Naomi crashed Paige’s post-match interview, beating her down until a referee intervened to call her off.
Paige & Naomi def. The Bella Twins
It’s no secret that the Divas division is one major player light this week, but nobody told Naomi, whose recent hot streak has her gunning for the top spot with no signs of slowing down. One week after earning the pin in a six-Diva tussle on Raw, the former Funkadactyl followed up by pinning Divas Champion Nikki Bella, teaming with Paige against The Bella Twins. Naomi made her presence known at the perfect moment, tagging in after Paige took the brunt of the twins’ abuse.

Brie, of course, ran to Nikki’s aid after the champion was bowled over by the Rear View, but in a reversal of last week’s miscommunication, she inadvertently shoved Nikki sternum-first into a superkick from Paige. Naomi instantly swarmed the shocked twin with a headscissors takedown into the mat, covered her for the three-count, and funk rolled on for another week.
The Bellas didn’t compete on Raw, but did a silly backstage promo to promote the Flintstones movie.
Episode 19: The Bellas, are at the center of yet another familial dustup when brother JJ accidentally sends a private picture meant for his wife to Nikki and Brie. The twins are understandably horrified, but Nikki can’t resist showing the image to some extended family members who happen to be in the room when they receive it. That drives JJ into a full-on fit, and Brie takes justice into her own hands by unlocking Nikki’s Instagram and posting her mushy, homemade Valentine’s Day card to John Cena all over the Internet. Turnabout being fair play, Nikki can’t get too mad, but she isn’t exactly thrilled about it either, and she elects to let it slide even as she secretly plots her revenge.
Episode 20: Unlike previous season finales, Nikki Bella and John Cena are doing A-OK! The only relationship in danger there is that between The Bellas and WWE itself as their contracts come to an end and the prospect of a three-year re-up is floated before them. With baby fever gripping Brie and opportunities outside the ring knocking at Nikki’s door, the twins are seriously debating hanging up their boots even after Nikki wins the Divas Championship at Survivor Series. As the season comes to a close, the sisters agree that their chance to pursue other ventures is rapidly thinning and they have to strike while the iron’s hot. The Bellas shockingly inform WWE officials that, while no departure date is set, their days as Divas are officially numbered!

AJ Lee def. Brie Bella
Prior to her match against a recently returning AJ Lee, Brie Bella and her sister, Divas Champion Nikki Bella, spoke out about #givedivasachance, AJ’s reemergence from her “vacation” and how the only Diva voice that will be heard is the one at the top.
In the final moments of the hard-fought match that followed, however, Paige was heard loud and clear, as she dropped an interfering Nikki off the apron and paved the way for AJ to make Brie tap-out to the Black Widow.
Nikki posted this on her Instagram:
Busted my nose bad tonight
How gorgeous is she, even with no makeup and a busted nose??
Paige def. Divas Champion Nikki Bella via Disqualification
The term “Anti-Diva” implies a certain amount of solitude, but give Paige credit: She’s still got some friends, however unlikely, in the Divas division to bail her out of a beatdown when all’s said and done. This came in handy after her Divas Title Match against Nikki Bella, granted as a result of the controversial conclusion to the title bout at WWE Fastlane.
Despite Nikki’s unexpected deployment of power maneuvers, Paige rallied to lock in the PTO until Brie, who was roaming at ringside, jumped The Diva of Tomorrow to end the bout in a disqualification. Further humiliation followed the final bell, until AJ Lee, of all people, skipped her way down to the ring and joined forces with Paige to drive Nikki and Brie back. Why team with the woman who ended her record-setting title reign, you ask? Well, as the saying goes, the enemy of my enemy is my friend. ‘Nuff said.
