Nikki Bella waltzes through Guilty Pleasures Night on “Dancing with the Stars”

Nikki Bella is still in the running for the Mirror Ball Trophy on “Dancing with the Stars” after a surprise non-elimination week … and a visit from John Cena!

After surviving a double-elimination last week and dancing a non-traditional Viennese Waltz with professional partner Artem Chigvintsev on Monday’s Guilty Pleasures Night, the Bella Twin – and the rest of the celebrity dancers – escaped elimination on ABC’s reality hit.

“There’s no elimination this week as we focus on the guilty pleasures of our stars,” host Tom Bergeron revealed to the delight of the crowd and the stars, who started the show by paying tribute to those affected by the shooting in Las Vegas.

Before her dance, Nikki revealed her guilty pleasure is romance novels, such as “Fifty Shades of Grey.” She didn’t hold back during her seductive Viennese Waltz to “Love on the Brain” with Chigvintsev, while Brie Bella, sister-in-law Lauren Garcia and fiancé John Cena watched from the audience. When it was time for the judges’ scores, Cena joined his bride-to-be on the dance floor.

“I thought it was spicy. I thought it was exciting. I thought it was sexy. I thought it was fearless,” Cena told Nikki. “I thought it was every reason I love you.”

On the other hand, Judge Len Goodman said, “I wasn’t exactly transported to old Vienna with the elegance … It was a tad on the aggressive side.”

Cena quipped back: “That’s my girl, she’s aggressive.”

Dancing With The Stars Episode 3 Recap

With an early double elimination week in the history books, which included dancing two different routines on back-to-back nights, Nikki Bella is still in the running for the Mirror Ball Trophy on Season 25 of ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars.”

After Monday’s Viennese Waltz and a judges’ score of 21 combined with viewer votes, Nikki was safe on Tuesday’s Latin Night, where she danced the samba to this summer’s hit, “Despacito.” The samba scored her an 18 from the judges, so Nikki still needs your votes before an elimination on next Monday’s “Guilty Pleasures” Night. Call 1-800-868-3409 up to 60 minutes after the show, or vote online at dwtsvote.abc.go.com up to 24 hours after the show.

Nikki – the only Latina in the competition – nixed her nerves about getting close to professional partner Artem Chigvintsev for the sexy samba and donned a curve-hugging purple outfit and matching sparkly lipstick. But the judges weren’t sold on her sultry look and dance, which kicked off Latin Night.

Judge Len Goodman said he wasn’t keen on all the gyrating. “You’ve got to use your feet and your legs a little stronger so you get the samba bounce action, which it was lacking,” he said.

Judge Bruno Tonioli was a bit easier on The Bella Twin: “Once you got going, you got going nicely,” Tonioli commented. “The timing was a little bit off, but the look was on.”

During her post-dance interview with co-host Erin Andrews, Nikki said she particularly enjoyed her second dance of the week.

“Being a Latina, I love Latin night,” Nikki said. “I think my hips get a little too out of control. I get a little too excited, so I do kind of lose the form, and I think I just go into Nicole’s own little rhythm, so I have to work on that.”

Call to vote for Nikki toll-free at 1-800-868-3409. (Save this number, as it will be Nikki and Artem’s number to dial each week!) Dancing With The Stars Episode 2 Recap

Nikki Bella did not come to Dancing with the Stars to play with anybody — she came to win. And it’s becoming more evident, as the weeks go on, that our favorite Bella twin is a great contender for the much-coveted mirror ball. And given the support that she’s gotten from all her shows — the cast of Total Bellas, including her soon-to-be hubby John Cena, and of course the WWE family — it makes one wonder why Chris Jericho didn’t get the same support when he, too, put on his dancing shoes.

No matter — our Dancing with the Stars recap is full of good news for fans of the talented WWE diva, who proves, each week, that she’s just as good in the ring as she is on the dance floor.

Three of this week’s contestants — Drew Scott, Vanessa Lachey, and Frankie Muniz — went down with injuries during this week’s competition, prompting host Tom Bergeron to remark that the 25th season of the show was the “toughest ever.” However, our girl Nikki not only thrived — injury-free — she delivered an awesome performance that got her accolades from the judges.

For this week’s waltz dance, Nikki and Artem sailed around the dance floor, inspired of course by the “elegant, classy and the most amazing woman that has ever walked this Earth,” i.e., Nikki’s “Nana.”

Notoriously tough judge Len Goodman praised Nikki’s performance, and they were duly impressed with Nikki’s “great, lady-like” turn. She ultimately earned 21 points out of a possible 30. And though they weren’t the highest scores of the night, Nikki is safe from elimination — Shark Tank’s Barbara Corcoran, on the other hand, isn’t as lucky.
