WWE’s Women’s Revolution is taking over this year’s Comic-Con International in San Diego with WWE and Mattel’s joint panel moderated by SmackDown LIVE’s Renee Young.
The one-hour panel on Thursday, July 20, features an all-star lineup of female Superstars, including Nikki Bella, Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks, Bayley and Becky Lynch. The session also promises to include exciting Mattel product reveals and an interactive Q&A.
Not making it to San Diego this year? Don’t worry! WWE’s Digital Team has your back with live coverage from the convention floor throughout this year’s SDCC, beginning on Preview Night, Wednesday, July 19.
This will be the reveal of the dolls I wrote about a little while ago here and here.
WWE posted a clip of the Bellas from “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” at this link. If you are in the US you can watch the show at this link.
I also added screencaps from their appearance here.
Missing Total Divas and in need of a little Bella Twins action? Well, you’re in luck because the WWE’s iconic sisterly duo of Brie and Nikki Bella are making their way to The CW this Monday night to take on their toughest opponents yet: the Whose Line Is It Anyway? cast!
Tonight, the Bellas become the latest stars to drop by for a night full of unfiltered and unpredictable fun alongside stars Ryan Stiles, Wayne Brady and Colin Mochrie (as well as this week’s guest comedian Jeff Davis) where they’ll join in on the show’s various improv bits. While we may have to wait until tonight’s episode to see what crazy situations Brie and Nikki find themselves in – this is Whose Line after all – a look through The CW’s episodic images give us a good idea of what the night holds for the Bella Twins!
Glancing through the official press images, such as the image above, we can see Brie and Nikki standing off to the side of the stage with microphones in their hands suggesting that the duo will be partaking in the Sound Effects segment. Additional images of the duo interacting with the cast allude to their involvement in the Living Scenery bit as well!
For those unfamiliar with Whose Line, Sound Effects typically involves bringing two audience members (or in this case the Bella Twins) on stage to help provide the sound effects for an improv scene involving two of the show’s stars. Living Scenery, meanwhile, tasks the night’s guest star(s) with standing in as the props/scenery for an improv scene.
Both bits are sure to provide the Bella Army with plenty of laughs and we can’t wait to see the Bellas hold their own against the show’s improv geniuses!
The Bella Twins will be appearing on the June 5th episode of CW’s “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” program.
“TAG TEAMING FOR LAUGHS – WITH GUEST STAR APPEARANCE BY WWE DIVA CHAMPIONS THE BELLA TWINS – Hosted by comedian Aisha Tyler, cast members Ryan Stiles, Wayne Brady and Colin Mochrie, along with guest comedian Jeff Davis, put their comedic skills to the test through a series of spontaneous improv games that are prompted only by random ideas supplied by the studio audience. The four performers must use the little information they have and their wild imaginations to depict different characters and an array of scenes, as well as perform songs. After each round of improvisation, Aisha will dole out points to our four performers and declare a winner at the end of every episode.”
Nikki Bella will be a celebrity host at Runway to Hope’s 7th Annual Spring Fashion Soiree May 20th in Orlando.
Nikki is a Philanthropist, Empowered Woman Executive Producer, YouTuber, Motivational Speaker, Workout Queen and Longest Reigning Divas Champion. A self-admitted “tomboy” with a feminine side, Nikki originally planned to play professional soccer until a leg injury ended her career. From there, she followed her twin sister Brie’s lead into WWE. Now, as a pivotal member of the SmackDown LIVE roster, Nikki continues to test the limits of competition in a complete and totally Fearless fashion. Nikki is the star of reality shows like Total Bellas and Total Divas and recently got engaged to longtime boyfriend John Cena at Wrestlemania 33 in Orlando.
The show takes place June 18th from Toronto, Ontario.
The newly engaged John Cena and Nikki Bella were front and center at last week’s 2017 MTV Movie & TV Awards and social media was abuzz. The Cenation Leader and The Fearless Superstar were as dapper and dazzling as always, brushing shoulders with the likes of “Logan” star Hugh Jackman. Cena presented the Next Generation award with his “The Wall” co-star Aaron Taylor-Johnson.
