Brie Bella vs. Nikki Bella (Loser must become the winner’s personal assistant)
After weeks of escalating tension and venomous verbal attacks, Brie Bella will finally confront her issues with her sister Nikki when the twins battle each other at Hell in a Cell.
The rivalry between the previously inseparable twin sisters began at SummerSlam, whenNikki attacked Brie during her match against Stephanie McMahon, costing her the victory and creating a conflict that has snowballed over the past two months. Now, the two will collide at Hell in a Cell, with a special stipulation: The loser must work as the winner’s personal Bella assistant!
Since arriving in WWE in 2008, The Bella Twins have become two of the most prominent Divas in WWE. Both Brie and Nikki are former Divas Champions, former Slammy Award-winning Divas of the Year (they shared the award in 2013) and, of course, “Total Divas”co-stars. Until recently, the sisters attained all of their accomplishments with each other’s support. Yet, at Hell in a Cell, they will stand across the ring from one another as enemies, when they meet for the first time in one-on-one competition.
During their clashes on Raw, Brie and Nikki each have claimed to be the victim while firing accusations of selfishness and jealousy at the other. Now allied with Stephanie, Nikki put Brie in matches with unfavorable stipulations that positioned her sister at a severe disadvantage – similar to the situations she found herself in after Brie quit WWE in June. Brie initially refused to fight her own flesh and blood, but Nikki’s physical and verbal assaults led her to cross that boundary and retaliate.
Will Nikki’s new attitude catalyze a career-defining win? Or will Brie avenge her emotional torment and shut her sister up for good? Find out at Hell in a Cell; live on the WWE Network and pay-per-view on Oct. 26 at 8 p.m. EST/5 p.m. PT!
Brie Bella, Natalya & Naomi def. Nikki Bella, Summer Rae & Cameron
Cameron gave Real Housewife of Atlanta NeNe Leakes a little too much lip, and the rest of the “Total Divas” crew responded accordingly. Refusing to let a fellow reality star be disrespected, Brie Bella, Natalya & Naomi (with Rosa Mendes as cheerleader) united against Nikki Bella, Summer Rae & main offender Cameron in what was ultimately a winning effort that came down to a battle of the Bellas after a bench-clearing brawl that left the Divas strewn all over Atlanta. What looked to be a repeat of last week’s humiliation on WWE Main Event turned around in a hurry for Brie when she escaped the Nikki Rack Attack and struck with a facebuster to pin her sister, much to the delight of NeNe and the rest of the “Total Divas.”
Does Brie Bella regret documenting her personal life on the hit E! show Total Divas?
“Is it funny to kind of watch yourself on television, especially in your real life,” Brie told E! News recently while promoting the WWE and SGK’s “Courage Conquer Cure” campaign.
“There’s definitely moments I’m like, ‘Oh my gosh, I’m so embarrassed and mom I’m sorry,'” she added. “But other than that I think it’s great and I love the fact that so many people get to see how different Nikki and I are. And that they see Bryan and I in our element and then they see Nikki and John in theirs and I think that’s really great.”
As for what Brie thinks is most embarrassing about watching herself on Total Divas?
“It’s my grammar!” she dished. “I think growing up with my sister we would always talk and never finish our sentences because we always knew what we were thinking. And I notice on Total Divas I won’t finish thoughts, I won’t finish sentences. And sometimes I’ll hear myself and I’m like, ‘Oh my gosh, I need to go back to grammar class.'”
